A brand list on its own proves nothing. What matters is knowing which cartridge a fifteen-year-old valve takes, and whether the part still exists.

Solid brass bodies, brand-specific cartridges, and parts that are ordered rather than picked off a shelf.
- Toto
- Washlets, smart toilets and concealed carriers. Seat pairing and the dedicated outlet matter as much as the plumbing.
- Dornbracht
- German thermostatic and wall-mount fittings. Rough-in depth is unforgiving; the trim tells you immediately if it was wrong.
- Waterworks
- Heavy solid-brass fittings with brand-specific stems and seats. Parts are ordered, not picked off a shelf.
- Lefroy Brooks
- British heritage fittings — cross handles, exposed valves and telephone showers that are rebuilt rather than replaced.
- Kallista
- Designer basins, tub fillers and wall sets with tight tolerances on stone.
- AXENT
- Smart toilets and integrated bidet seats. Supply, drain and power all have to be hidden and still serviceable.

Thermostatic and pressure-balance systems, concealed cisterns and multi-outlet shower sets.
- Duravit
- Wall-hung pans, in-wall carriers and basins. The carrier is the job — it takes the whole load.
- Crosswater
- Shower systems, valves and bath fillers, including multi-outlet diverter sets.
- Hansgrohe
- Shower valves, thermostatic cartridges and hand showers. Cartridges are serviceable if you have the right one.
- Brizo
- Designer finishes on Delta rough-in bodies — useful when a finish is discontinued but the valve is not.
- Grohe
- Pressure-balance and thermostatic valves, flush plates and concealed cisterns.
- Riobel
- Canadian shower systems and faucets. Good parts availability, which matters on a repair.
- Aquabrass
- Canadian fittings across a wide range of finishes, including matte and PVD.

Everyday
Well-documented cartridge families and good parts availability — the brands behind most Toronto walls.
- Kohler
- Everything from a basic trim kit to a full wall-mount set. Cartridge families are well documented and well stocked.
- Moen
- Widely used and easy to keep running — cartridges, 1225s, and Flo shut-off devices.
- Delta
- Reliable valve bodies with broad trim compatibility. A common find behind older Toronto walls.
Not on the list
Send a photo of the fixture and the handle.
We work on plenty that is not listed here, including imported fittings with no local distributor. That is usually enough to identify it and tell you whether the parts still exist.
