Leak Repair & Shut-Off Replacement
Tracing and repairing leaks at joints, supplies and fixture connections, plus new quarter-turn shut-offs.
What you’re dealing with
There is a stain on a ceiling, a damp cabinet floor, or a meter that keeps ticking over when nothing is running.
Water travels. Where it appears is rarely where it started, so the first job is finding the actual source rather than sealing the symptom.
What the work may involve
- Isolating the leak by section rather than guessing at the joint
- Repairing or remaking failed compression, soldered and threaded joints
- Replacing perished braided connectors and seized shut-off valves
- Fitting quarter-turn ball valves so the fixture can be isolated in future
- Checking adjacent joints that were disturbed by the same movement
Every job is different. This is what these jobs usually include, not a fixed scope — we will tell you what yours needs once we have seen it.
