What you’re dealing with

A new faucet is sitting in a box, and the holes in the counter, the supply lines under it, and the fixture in the box do not all agree with each other.

A faucet install is straightforward until the counter is stone, the fixture is wall-mounted, or the old supplies are seized. We do the ones that are not straightforward.

What the work may involve

• Checking hole spacing and counter thickness against the fixture
• Replacing seized or multi-turn shut-offs with quarter-turn valves
• New braided supply connectors sized to the tailpiece
• Drilling stone or tile where the fixture is wall-mounted
• Resealing the deck and testing for leaks under pressure
