Renovation Plumbing — Rough-In & Finishing

Rough-in and trim-out for bathroom and kitchen renovations, working to the tile layout and the fixture schedule.

What you’re dealing with

You are moving fixtures, and every decision about where they go has to be made before the drywall and tile go on.

On a renovation the plumber comes twice: once to rough in before the walls close, and once to trim out at the end. What happens on the first visit decides how the second one goes.

What the work may involve

  • Reading the fixture schedule and rough-in templates before any pipe is cut
  • Relocating supply and drain lines, and re-venting where fixtures move
  • Setting valve bodies and stub-outs to the finished surface
  • Photographing the rough-in before it is closed in
  • Returning to trim out once tile and stone are complete

Every job is different. This is what these jobs usually include, not a fixed scope — we will tell you what yours needs once we have seen it.
